INGREDIENTS

  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp all spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 4 eggs whisked, room temp
  • 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup molasses

MAPLE GLAZE

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tsp real maple syrup
  • 6 tsp milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 10 cup bundt pan. * Set aside.
  2. In a medium sized bowl whisk the dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices. In the bowl of your stand mixer add the eggs, brown sugar, melted butter, buttermilk, and molasses. Using the paddle attachment, mix on low until the wet ingredients are combined, about 30 seconds. Add the flour into the wet ingredients. Mix on low until combined.
